Our collective debt collection experience spans over 20 years and runs the gamut from fully or partially secured to totally unsecured debt instruments for both public and private sector creditors.
Ontra's debt collection program is underpinned by a multi faceted servicing platform to provide thoroughly integrated recovery system. Including both a proprietary special servicing system called OASIS (Ontra Asset Servicing Information System) integrated with "off the shelf" software such as FICS, Debt Master and FIS among others, this architecture delivers a robust environment for the tracking, servicing and effective recovery on all asset types. In addition, a Melita predictive dialer is on site and available for large volume collection efforts.

Finally, Ontra's collectors have been fully trained on the FDCPA and the FCRA and utilizing the training programs of American Collectors Association, the collectors have learned proven collection techniques that are fair and reasonable and do not involve harassment, intimidation or false or misleading representation.

Riverway Bank as lender and warehouse provider for a defaulting Title 1 originator was tasked with assuming and liquidating the assets of the originator totally $50MM in Title 1 defaults. Ontra was engaged to collect on the assets and achieved recoveries of 65% over a 4 year period.
FDIC-Dallas, TX
Ontra was engaged as collector/liquidator for a portfolio of $200MM in judgements, deficiencies and charge offs. Ontra analyzed and stratified the assets, collecting on those determined immediately collectable and then pooled, priced and sold via bulk sales the remaining assets, achieving an overall return on all assets of 10% of BV.
